Most of the work you see in my website can be ordered as shown, or can be custom made to YOUR specifications. In addition similar pieces can be designed for you. If you see something you like but need a different size, wood or finish, I will work with you to build just the piece you have in mind. Being a one man shop is great advantage in these situations. You get to work directly with the designer, craftsman and the finisher. I really enjoy all of these steps in creating a lasting piece of beauty for your home. This is how it works:
It all begins with your idea. If you see a wood or stained glass item in the Arts and Crafts style you would like to own, but either cannot find, or wish you could find that fits in the space you have, contact me. We will discuss the project and I will attempt to give you a range of options and a rough idea of cost. If we agree to go forward I will do some sketches and possibly a CAD drawing to give you something to see & decide if this is what you had in mind. Once the drawings are approved and a firm estimate accepted I ask for a 50% deposit before scheduling the work.
You can be as involved in the design of your custom work as much or as little as you please. You can choose the overall shape, the wood, hardware and finish. You can pick the details you would like to add, or avoid. Or you can select a design I’ve already built and simply order one in the size you need. The choice is yours.
Anything from a set of candle sticks to a complete dinning set can be built just for you!
